(New York - WABC, July 7, 2007) - A helicopter with pontoons crashed
into the Hudson River about 50 yards north of the Lincoln Tunnel at

Fireworks Spark Deadly Shootings

Police in Cleveland say a man apparently angry about fireworks at a
noisy Fourth of July party shot three people to death and wounded two
others. Another man was shot to death during an argument at a fireworks
celebration near Seattle.

WASHINGTON - President Bush commuted the sentence of former aide I.
Lewis "Scooter" Libby Monday, sparing him from a 2 1/2-year prison term
in the CIA leak case. Bush left intact a $250,000 fine and two years
probation for Libby, according to a senior White House official. Bush's
move came hours after a federal appeals panel ruled Libby could not
delay his prison term in the case.
