Faceoff over U.S. attorneys
As questions swirl around forced resignations of eight federal
prosecutors, Congressional Democrats want to subpoena top White House
aides to provide sworn testimony. President Bush said this would breach
executive privilege and vowed to fight. Will this controversy have a
satisfactory ending, or will it further divide the Republican White
House and the Democratically controlled Congress?
