Former Russian President Boris Yeltsin dies

MOSCOW (AP) - Former President Boris Yeltsin, who engineered the final
collapse of the Soviet Union and pushed Russia to embrace democracy and
a market economy, has died, a Kremlin official said Monday. He was 76.
