Energy: PetroChina buys stakes in eight gas companies

PetroChina Ltd. shares advance in Hong Kong after the energy company
says it acquired stakes in eight domestic natural gas providers from
its parent company for about 1.09 billion yuan ($160 million) and
plans to issue up to 26 billion yuan in medium-term debt.
